This photo was quite helpful. I've been tracking a giant bug around my boyfriend's room for about 3 hours. It was hopping around and freaking me out. I suspected it was a grasshopper, but now, because of your photo, I know.

Glad I could help! They're harmless, at least, but something like that hopping around indoors can be kind of unsettling.
