Waimea Highway Sunset
We watched this gorgeous sunset as we drove back to our hotel in Kailua-Kona after hiking in Waipio Valley. We were somewhere between the town of Waimea and the Kohala region on the Big Island of Hawaii. Taken March 9, 2003, a half an hour after this picture and about an hour before we came home and found the gecko guarding our door.
